When we asked Stéphane Raymond which two people in the world he would choose to have lunch with, it was clear that he’s inspired by how culture and society impact life and design. He picked inventive video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and thought-provoking Charles Bukowski, both of whom recognize the reflexive influence of people on design. Stéphane brings this perspective to his work to impact design in a way that speaks to how people and architecture inform each other.

Stéphane joined B+H in 2011 and has extensive experience leading high-profile projects in North America and Europe. Over the past twenty years, his primary focus has been on the design, development and construction of museums and other landmark institutions. No stranger to other disciplines, he also has extensive involvement with retail, commercial, mixed-use and master planning developments. He’s won numerous awards and has lectured in Canada, the United States and Europe.

Good design looks at how spaces can help people live, work and play better.
