Construction Starts on DoubleTree by Hilton Ha Long Bay Hotel & Condotel
December 6th marked an important milestone for the DoubleTree by Hilton Ha Long Bay Hotel & Condotel Project with their groundbreaking ceremony held in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh, Vietnam. The ceremony included full participation of Tri Duc Hotel JSC, the investor, representatives from B+H, along with other project consultants and distinguished guests.
Mr. Trương Thành Long – Chairman of Tri Duc Group and General Director of Tri Duc Hotel JSC, said “We believe that the Project will contribute to the promotion of the tourism market of Quang Ninh province in general and Ha Long City in particular, when it is completed and under operation. DoubleTree by Hilton Ha Long Bay Hotel & Condotel will attract visitors and travelers to Ha Long City for relaxation and entertainment all year round, creating job opportunities for local citizens and the social and economic development of the city”.
DoubleTree by Hilton Ha Long Bay Hotel & Condotel has been developed with a total investment capital of VND 2,000 Billion and occupies a site sized at approximately 1.7 Ha. The development consists of a 23-storey, 5-star hotel tower and 33-storey condotel tower nestled in an open C-shaped plan that fully captures the refreshing marine breeze and seascape. The 5-star hotel features 318 rooms, a rooftop bar, spa, outdoor pool, several food and beverage concepts, and will have 2000 m2 of meeting and event facilities including a 1,000-seat ballroom. The adjacent service apartment tower rises 100m, perpendicular to the bay.
At the ceremony, B+H and other consultants committed to deliver this project on time and budget to meet the target opening milestone of the National Tourism Year of 2020.
