Women Transforming Business

“Innovation requires diversity. Diversity requires women.” Jacqueline Poh, Chief Executive, GovTech Singapore

This year, the Canada-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) is hosting its fourth annual CABC Business Forum in Singapore and for the first time, there will be a Women’s Forum in conjunction.

By 2020 one in every three in the global working population will be a woman.

Recognizing the transformative impact that the increasing number of women entering the workforce over the next decade will have on “business as usual” practices, the Women’s Leadership Forum presents: Women Transforming Business. The day’s agenda begins with the opportunity for attendees to meet and mingle with a powerful network of women who are influencing the future and challenging the status quo. Speakers will then present their stories of transformation to inspire attendees. After lunch, participants will engage with others in a Leadership Café, a participatory, inclusive discussion format designed to encourage conversations that matter around shaping our future and influencing positive outcomes.

Karen Cvornyek, Principal and President, Asia, will welcome attendees and introduce the day along with CABC.

The inaugural Women’s Leadership Forum will take place on March 21st at the Shangri-la Hotel Singapore. Its purpose is to create a forum for women leaders from Canada and the ASEAN nations to inspire and propel each other towards solving today’s complex problems through innovation that will create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.

The fourth annual CABC Business Forum is by invitation only. For more information, please contact Greg Ross.
