The overall design concept for the interior spaces at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Regina is driven by its location in the heart of the Canadian Plains and its rich history as the centre of the Prairie industry. Interior spaces include the hotel conference centre, lounge, ballrooms and guestrooms, as well as the hotel restaurant—Wild Sage Kitchen & Bar. The hotel’s colour palette is inspired by the region’s vast open skies and fields of wheat. By combining rustic and contemporary elements, its public spaces strike a delicate balance between what Regina was and what the city is becoming.

Balancing the old with the new, CHIL Interior Design carefully selected furniture pieces to evoke a rural charm while slick upholstery and streamlined chairs reflect a more modern approach. These new twists on historical elements are carried throughout hotel corridors and guestrooms where the blue and ochre selection of colours demonstrate a solid, masculine style. Warm wood tones mixed with classical furniture styling create an inviting and relaxed property that’s destined to remain a landmark hotel in Regina.
